Ltd have direct working relations with coalmines in Ukraine and
neighboring Russia and Kazakhstan for Anthracite & Steam Coals,
Caking & Coking Coals. The latter are very scarce in Ukraine
and even in Russia and Kazakhstan being sold on export in limited
quantities. Pure coking coal such as grade “K” is so scarce that
it’s not being sold on export nowadays. In practice it is a mixture
of several more or less corresponding coal grades with various
degrees of caking & coking properties that is now used and
understood as “Coking Coal” in former USSR:

If you look to buy “Coking Coal” from CIS, you have to perfectly
understand the coking or metallurgical process at your end-user
factory and compose a blend from several suitable above-mentioned
grades of Caking & Coking Coals, possibly also including some
other grades of regular Anthracite & Steam Coals. First MOQ
(minimal order quantity) is 1 train 2,**0MT*3,**0MT on DAF basis
from Ukraine. FOB or CFR basis from Ukraine can be quoted for
minimal applicable vessel tonnage 5,**0MT**0,**0MT. FOB or CFR
basis from Russia and Kazakhstan is usually quoted for larger
quantities *5,**0MT**0,**0MT. But bare in mind: this is not for
L/C.
